HISKI Aceh Sukses Jadi Tuan Rumah Konferensi Internasional 2019

[:id]Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Syiah Kuala menyelenggarakan konferensi internasional The 28nd  International Conference on Literature (ICoL). Konferensi ini terselenggara atas kolaborasi program studi pendidikan bahasa Indonesia dan program studi pendidikan bahasa inggris bekerja sama dengan Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan Indonesia (HISKI). Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama tiga hari sejak 11-13 Juli 2019 di Aula FKIP Unsyiah, dan diikuti oleh akademisi dari berbagai universitas di seluruh Indonesia.

Ketua panitia acara, Dr. Zulfadli A. Aziz, M.A., mengatakan, paper yang masuk kali ini adalah sebanyak 126 paper, yang datang dari peneliti dari seluruh Indonesia. Konferensi ini, tambahnya, tebagi ke dalam tiga rangakain acara, yaitu presentasi keynote speaker, parallel session, dan diakhir akan ada musyawarah pengurus besar HISKI. Keynote speaker yang dihadirkan dalam konferensi ini datang dari berbagai negara, yaitu Dr. Soe Marlar Lwin dari Singapore University of Social Sciences, Dr. Mohamad Saleeh Bin rahamad dari University of Malaya, Ass. Prof. Dr. Phaosan Jahwae dari Fatoni University Thailand, Prof. Dr. Djoko Saryono, M.Pd. dari Universitas Malang, dan Prof. Dr. Antonia Soriente dari University of Naples Orientale, Italy.

Dr. Mohd. Harun, M.Pd, ketua HISKI sekretariat Aceh mengatakan, tema yang diangkat pada konferensi ini adalahLiterature as the Source Wisdom, atau literature sebagai sumber kearifan. Menurutnya, tema ‘Sastra sebagai Sumber Kearifan’ dipilih karena sejak dahulu sastra sudah menjadi salah satu kebudayaan manusia yang menghasilkan berbagai nilai kehidupan yang di dalamnya mempunyai sumber kearifan. “Di sini (Konferensi Internasional Kesusastraan) kita akan membahas itu,” ucapnya.[]

Seratusan lebih pegiat sastra dan literasi mulai hari ini, Kamis (11/7), berkumpul di Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah), Banda Aceh, Aceh, dalam Konferensi Internasional Kesusastraan (KIK) XXVIII. Konferensi mengusung tema ‘Sastra sebagai Sumber Kearifan’ ini turut menghadirkan pembicara utama dari luar negeri.
Bekerja sama dengan Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan-Indonesia (HISKI) Komisariat Aceh, konferensi diselenggarakan oleh Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia dan Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Unsyiah hingga Sabtu (13/7). Ketua HISKI Komisariat Aceh, Dr. Mohd. Harun, menyebut konferensi yang bertempat di aula FKIP Unsyiah diikuti oleh ratusan pemakalah dan peserta yang terdiri dari akademisi, praktisi dan guru berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
“Di sini sudah berkumpul para pegiat sastra dan sastrawan dari berbagai kota di Indonesia dan juga luar negeri, bersama-sama berbicara tentang sastra sebagai kearifan lokal,” sebut Harun kepada acehkini, Kamis (11/7).

Menurutnya, tema ‘Sastra sebagai Sumber Kearifan’ dipilih karena sejak dahulu sastra sudah menjadi salah satu kebudayaan manusia yang menghasilkan berbagai nilai kehidupan yang di dalamnya mempunyai sumber kearifan. “Di sini (Konferensi Internasional Kesusastraan) kita akan membahas itu,” ucapnya.
Adapun pembicara utama selain dari Indonesia, juga hadir dari luar negeri di antaranya Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, dan Italia. Mereka adalah Prof. Djoko Saryono dari State University of Malang, Dr. Mohamad Saleeh Rahamad dari University of Malaya, Dr. Soe Marlar Lwin dari Singapore University of Social Sciences, Asisten Prof. Phaosan Jehwae dari Fatoni University Thailand, dan Prof. Antonia Soriente dari University of Naples Orientale Italia.
Sementara yang menjadi peserta utama pada konferensi datang dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. “Mereka sudah mendaftarkan diri sebelum kegiatan ini diselenggarakan. Hampir semua perguruan tinggi di Indonesia terwakili dalam forum ini dari Sabang sampai Merauke,” kata Harun.

Ia menyebutkan, awalnya kegiatan konferensi yang digagas oleh Himpunan Sarjana Kesusastraan-Indonesia pertama kali digelar di Jakarta. Konferensi kesusastraan tersebut tidak hanya diikuti lulusan sastra Indonesia tapi berbagai sarjana sastra lainnya seperti Inggris, Arab, Jawa serta pakar sastra dalam berbagai bidang.
“Harapannya jika ada penelitian ilmiah seperti ini menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru dan inovasi baru yang dapat digunakan untuk kehidupan,” tutur Harun.
Mursalim peserta perwakilan dari Universitas Mulawarman Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, mengaku senang dapat mengikuti Konferensi Internasional Kesusastraan XXVIII yang digelar di Aceh. “Semoga setelah ini kita dapat menemukan nilai-nilai yang dapat dipraktikkan kepada masyarakat dan menjadi pedoman,” ujarnya.

Abstract

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 28th International Conference on Literature: “Literature as a Source of Wisdom” (28th ICL 2019), which will be held on July 11-13, 2019 at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This conference is supported by Himpunan Sarjana Kesusatraan Indonesia (HISKI) Komisariat Aceh or Indonesian Literature Scholars Association in Aceh. It will focus on all topics related to literature. This conference will provide an international forum for the exchange of information, ideas and knowledge among researchers, academicians, teachers and students, writers as poets, musicians and artists. The abstracts are designated for the oral presentation and full paper of presenters.   1. Introduction

  1. Literature Review

All papers submitted to this conference will be reviewed by our international scientific committee, and accepted articles will be published in the proceedings (hardcopy and online) (ISSN: 000-XXXX). Selected papers will be published in some international journals; please refer to the website for journals that have agreed to publish the selected papers from this conferences.

 

  1. Research Method

All articles must be written in English, should have an abstract between 200-250 words in length, followed by three to five keywords related to your article. The font is Perpetua size 12. Lines are single spaced and justified. Papers accepted for publication are strictly limited to a maximum of ten (10) pages (including tables and figures) in a one-column format following this template.

 

  1. Results and Discussion

All presentations and discussions will be carried out in a forum, i.e. parallel sessions. In the parallel session, each presenter is given a fifteen-minute presentation with five minutes of discussion. The use of MS PowerPoint® or PPT is recommended for all oral presentations. Please prepare and save your slide presentation in a flashdisk. It should be given to the moderator on your presentation day and schedule. The moderator will save your PPT in the laptop available in each room for the parallel sessions. The presentation is to be delivered in the English language.

4.1 Submission of Papers

4.1.1 Plagiarism

Please note that papers should contain original materials which are not currently under review in any other conference or journal and has not been previously published. This conference have a policy of “Zero Tolerance on Plagiarism”. Authors are recommended to check their articles by plagiarism prevention tool (ithenticate.com, turnitin.com, etc.) before submission.

 

Conclusions

The references follow the APA 6th Edition. Basically, for in-text citation, the author’s last name and the year of publication for the source should appear in the text, for example: (Jones, 1998). Thus, when quoting directly from an author, page number is also required for the citation, for example: (Jones, 1998, p. 17). When there are six or more authors, use the first author’s name followed by et al. in the signal phrase. All titles published not in the English language must be translated into English. Make sure that all cited authors are included in the References section, and those that are not cited in the manuscript should not be included in this section.

Give credit to funding bodies and departments that have been of help during the project, for instance by supporting it financially.

 

Appendices (optional)

If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as Appendix I, Appendix II, etc.

Aceh Terpilih Sebagai Tuan Rumah Musyawarah Nasional HISKI XI Tahun 2019

Himpunan Sarjana-Kesusastraan Indonesia (HISKI) Aceh terpilih sebagai tuan rumah Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) XI tahun 2019. Munas empat tahunan tersebut beragenda memilih Ketua Umum HISKI Pusat dan menyusun kepengurusan periode 2019-2023. Selain munas, juga diadakan Konferensi Internasional Kesusatraan (KIK) XXVIII untuk memaparkan dan mendiskusikan hasil penelitian para pakar sastra dari berbagai perguruan tinggi dan balai bahasa seindonesia.

Terpilihnya Aceh sebagai tuan rumah melalui proses diskusi panjang di antara pengurus HISKI dari berbagai daerah. HISKI merupakan organisasi profesi para sarjana kesusastraan di Indonesia. Mereka menggelar Musyawarah Nasional Dua Tahunan tahun 2017 dengan agenda memilih tuan rumah KIK XXVII 2018 dan Munas XI tahun 2019 serta KIK XXVIII.

Sebelumnya, Munas rencana digelar di Jember sekaligus menapaktilasi salah satu warisan sastra asal nusantara yakni sastra Osing. “Jember mengembalikan mandat sebagai tuan rumah Munas disebabkan persoalan kesiapan. Sehingga kita membahas ulang pemilihan tuan rumah munas XI tahun 2019. Akhirnya terpilih Aceh melalui musyawarah mufakat,” terang Prof. Dr. Suwardi Endraswara, Ketua Umum HISKI Pusat 2015-2019.
Selain Aceh, terdapat beberapa opsi calon tuan rumah yakni Kalimantan Timur, Universitas Sanata Darma Yogyakarta dan Aceh.

“Kalimantan Timur belum dapat mengambil keputusan terkait pencalonan ini sebab kami belum merapatkan secara khusus dan butuh konsultasi pimpinan,” ujar Dr. Yudit, Sekretaris HISKI Kalimantan Timur. Sebelumnya, utusan Kalimantan Timur juga meyakinkan peserta Munas bahwa secara sarana prasana mereka cukup potensial menjadi tuan rumah. Termasuk potensi wisata Kalimantan Timur yang dikenal sangat menarik sekaligus pertimbangan bahwa Kalimantan Timur merupakan salah satu pusat pertumbuhan kebudayaan nasional yakni dayak.

Sementara itu, Dr. Yapi Taum menyatakan optimis dan kesanggupan HISKI USD Yogyakarta sebagai tuan rumah. Apalagi berbarengan dengan lustrum kampus kami. Kami menyambut baik apabila ditunjuk sebagai panitia. Namun kami berpikir bahwa perhatian kebudayaan termasuk sastra sudah saatnya diarahkan gerakannya di luar Jawa.

Apalagi Yogyakarta juga sering menjadi acara kesusastraan. Untuk itu, kami mendukung apabila kota lain termasuk Aceh atau Kalimantan Timur menjadi tuan rumah. Harapannya sastra semakin merakyat. Sesuai dengan semangat memasyarakatkan sastra dan menyastrakan masyarakat,” ujar Dr. Yapi Taum Ketua HISKI USD Yogyakarta yang juga dikenal sebagai Penulis Buku tentang kritik dan ilmu Sastra.

Sementara itu, HISKI Aceh menyatakan sanggup dan siap menjadi tuan rumah. “Kami berterima kasih bila ditunjuk tahun 2019 sebab kami dapat menyiapkan acara sejak sekarang. Kami akan segera menindaklanjuti keputusan ini dan mengemas acara dengan menarik sehingga menjadi kenangan indah para pakar sastra yang akan datang ke Aceh dua tahun lagi, ” sambut Dr. Harun, utusan HISKI Aceh.
